At the time of the visit, in a review of the Licensee's file, the file did not contain documentation to show that they were director qualified. The Licensee then identified an educator as the 'Director on site'. In a review of this educators file, the file did not contain documentation to show they were director qualified. The licensee must ensure that the program is soundly administered by qualified persons designated with specific administrative and program responsibilities. The program was previously cited for this in December 2024. The programs corrective action plan read as follows: "The file is being worked on and will be finished by 12/20/2024. An application will be submitted to EEC (based on the minimum hiring requirements) for the Director Certification. If for some reason the requirements do not meet EEC requirements, the former Director of Teddy Bear has agreed to be on site until all requirements have been met. Upon further investigation, according to the minimum hiring requirements (provided by EEC regulations) for Director Certification is met. The application will be sent into EEC and if for any reason its found that the administrator is not qualified, the former owner/director has agreed to step in until all requirements are met."
