During the visit, an educator in the Preschool classroom was yelling in an angry tone at a child to "sit against the wall" repeatedly. Staff must be responsive to individual child needs; Nurturing and responsive to children and child guidance practices by staff include: learning, encourage, intervene, explain, behavior techniques. Support development of self-esteem, independence, self-regulation.

All children's emergency medications were reviewed during this visit and found one child is missing one EpiPen (has one and needs two according to the doctor's IHCP). All emergency medications must be readily available.
Emergency Evacuation
The evacuation drill log was observed and found a drill was not conducted in February 2026. The educator must hold practice evacuation drills with all groups of children and all educators from each floor level of the approved space at least monthly. Drills must be held during different times of the program day, and must use alternative exits. The educator must document the date, time, exit route used, number of children evacuated and effectiveness of each drill.
All bathrooms lock and keys were not observed to be accessible. The keys must be kept nearby so the doors can easily be opened.
The Health Care Policy was reviewed and found to be incomplete. An email was sent to the Executive Director on 1/23/2026 with missing information.
During the staff record review, one educator did not have the completed certificate for EEC Essentials 2.0 for center based.

During the visit it was observed that Toddler 1 did not have enough cubbies for 8 children.
The program ordered stools and expects them to be delivered within the next day.
The following was observed during the visit: 8 bolts around the inside and outside of the fence have threads longer than 3. These long threads pose as a hazard as clothes can be caught on them.
Toileting procedures were missing from the Toddler 1 and Preschool bathrooms.
