All medication shall be: Inaccessible to children.
The licensing coordinator observed that two EpiPen's and one bottle of Walgreens Children’s Allergy Relief were not labeled with each child’s name to ensure correct identification. Corrective action: The site director added the children's name to the medications before the licensing visit ended. He has examined all the medication held at the program to confirm each has the required information. For future compliance the School Age Office will include a reminder in a weekly memo that goes out to all programs to check medications for all correct information including names and expiration dates.
