Emergency medications readily available
In the Toddler/Preschool 2 Classroom, the attendance was inaccurate. There were four children present but only three children were signed into the classroom on the program's electronic attendance form.
One child's Individual Health Care Plan included the administration of (REDACTED). The program did not have this medication on the premises. Therefore, the medication was not immediately available if needed.
This follow-up visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
During the visit, two staff files were reviewed. One file did not include a Staff Form. One file did not include an interview date. One file did not include verification of two references. One file did not include evidence of teacher qualification. One file did not include evidence of program orientation. One file did not include documentation of the 12 Essentials Training.
The Licensee did not notify EEC that the Preschool Classroom, licensed for 20 children had been separated into 2 smaller classrooms. The licensee must notify the Department when possible, at least 30 days prior to any change in the space used by the program. If the licensee is unable to provide 30 days notice, the licensee must notify the Department by telephone immediately upon learning of the impending change.

Medication Administration Policy
A review of five Children's Records indicated the following: -One lacked a current Individual Health Care Plan (IHCP) for a child (REDACTED). The most recent IHCP on file was dated (REDACTED). Written parental and licensed health care practitioner authorization shall be valid for one year, unless withdrawn sooner and must be renewed annually, or when the child’s condition changes, for administration of medication and/or treatment to continue. -One lacked a complete IHCP as it lacked information on the names of the educators in the program that received training in addressing the medical condition of the child and the name of who trained those educators.
A review of Medication Consent Forms for two (REDACTED) found that: -One child did not have the (REDACTED) listed on the Medication Consent Form; and -One child's Medication Consent Form for an epi pen did not list the possible (REDACTED).

A walk through of the program indicated the following: -In the Toddler classroom wall to the left of the entrance of the class, there was evidence of peeling paint.
The staff schedule was not posted. During the visit, this was corrected by the Licensee and the staff schedule was posted on the Parent bulletin board.

Three children’s files reviewed indicated the following: -A child (REDACTED) did not have an Individual Health Care Plan in the child’s file. -A child (REDACTED) did not have a parent signature on the Medication Consent form in the child’s file.

In the Toddler/Preschool Classroom, there was a bottle on a shelf that was not labeled with the child's name.
