There was one child with a documented allergy and another child with a lifesaving medication. These were not posted, as required by EEC regulations. The educator did create the posting during the visit and hung it up.
Records were reviewed for all enrolled children. Two children did have signatures for the Acknowledgement of the Parent Handbook.

The first aid kit was missing some emergency cards for the currently enrolled children. There were emergency cards for two current children, but the other cards were for children who no longer attend the program.
Progress reports were not current for the enrolled children. Of the four children present on the day of the visit, one child had a current progress report.

The provider did not have a current Health care plan or medication form on file for a child with a medication at the program.
There were cleaning and bleach solutions/sprays within reach of children in the bathroom and on the changing table in the child care space. The locks were broken on two kitchen drawers.
There was no carbon monoxide detector in the second floor level, as required.
The Educator has two dogs. The Educator agreed to forward the dog's current immunization records.
The first aid kit was missing a roll of gauze.

Television cords were observed in the playroom. The loose cords were accessible and are dangerous. The Licensor, also, observed loose cords in the living room that were accessible. One kitchen draw had a broken latch making plastics and aluminums accessible. Dietary supplements were accessible under the kitchen table. Beer was accessible in the small fridge in the living room. The closet in the living room contained a large container of disinfect wipes. Many boxes of plastic gloves were accessible in the bathroom
