One of the children’s records was checked and the annual update form was missing.
The educator has a slide and seesaw without proper ground cover. We discussed the regulations that proper ground cover such as playground mulch (6 inches deep and 6 feet all around the equipment) would need to be installed. A copy of the Outdoor home safety playground handbook will be sent by email for the educator to review.
For the outdoor space we discussed to install a cover for the window well. For the indoor space we discussed to barricade the edges of the wood stove's hearth in the living room.
