A walk through of the outdoor playground facilities indicated the following: -On both the Preschool and the Toddler side of the playground there are multiple tubes/wiring protruding out of the ground along the perimeter of the fence. -On both the Preschool and Toddler side of the playground there are potential entrapment issues with up to a 7 inch gap (spacing) at the bottom of the fence. -On the Preschool side of the playground, there is one sewer cover (round circle) and one electrical cover (green rectangle) that are a potential tripping hazard. -On the Preschool side of the playground, there is a hole in ground near the fence that is a potential tripping hazard. -On the Toddler side of the playground, there are loose construction materials along fence, -On the Preschool side of the playground, there are 2 metal brackets protruding out at the bottom of the fence. The program is not yet open and caring for children. The anticipated date of program opening is scheduled for 9/5/2023. All potential hazards and potential entrapments must be removed and/or rectified prior to the approval of use of the playground.
