The educator’s first aid kit was fully stocked, the diapering surface was appropriate, the carbon/smoke detectors were no tested due to the children sleeping. There was a blender and some plastic bags in a cabinet and drawer accessible to the children.

The Assistant hasn’t completed the 12 essential trainings, as required.
The bookshelf isn’t bolted and could pose a tipping hazard. The cubbie is not bolted and could pose a tipping hazard. The two latches under the bathroom sink aren’t working making the hazards accessible. The fenced area outside needs to measure a minimal of 750 square feet in order for the license upgrade to 10.
The Educator isn’t completing the daily sheet for infants, as required.
The Licensor observed loose hanging cords in the playroom
The latch under the bathroom sink wasn't working exposing hazards. One kitchen draw contained plastics and aluminium that were accessible.
After reviewing attendance records and the child care record chart, it was determined that the Educator and the Assistant cared for 4 infants on August 23, 2021 until September 9, 2021 and 5 infants from August 31, 2021 until September 13, 2021. The Educator is licensed to care for up to 10 children with an Assistant. Current regulations state that the Educator and her Assistant can care for up to 3 infants when both are present.
The Educator hasn't listed all of the trainings that she has completed in the Professional Qualification Registry, as required.
The first aid kit is missing a CPR mouthguard.
The nap mats were not stored separately, as required.
The kitchen located on the first floor level had four draws that contained hazards such as cleaning products, knives and plastics. The kitchen located in the basement level contained a cabinet that wasn't bolted and could pose a tipping hazard.
The Licensor observed loose pieces of wood in the outdoor play area.
