The play kitchen in the playroom was not secured posing a tipping hazard. Several outdoor toys were dirty with dirt, leaves and debris. The small table in the outdoor space was observed to have dirt on it and approximately ten bees swarming around it.

All of the children’s progress reports were reviewed, two children require an updated progress report.
The screen on the back door was ripped on top and removed on the bottom. The stove knobs were accessible to the children.
This follow-up visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.

Outdoor Playspace - Hazards
There was a smoke detector on the wall in the hallway near the sleeping areas. However, according to the regulations, the smoke detector must be on or near the ceiling. There was also a smoke detector in the basement. However, it must be in the stairway on the ceiling near the base of the stairs.

There was a Raid, a Lysol and a toilet cleaning product accessible to children in the bathroom cabinet.
There was a trampoline accessible to children, in the backyard. There were a slide set and a seesaw, in the outdoor play area, that need the required ground surface and the 6 feet in all directions from the perimeter of the equipment..
The basement did not have a carbon monoxide detector.
There was a play kitchen set in the living room that needs to be secured to the wall. The trash can in the bathroom didn’t have a cover.
The deck had peeling paint.
There was a gas can in the outdoor play area.
Provider wants to use her deck for childcare activities. The deck will be approve once the peeling paint is fixed.

The Educator reported she has not completed any professional development training hours since she go licensed.
The Educator reported she is washing hands in the kitchen sink after diapering. Discussed hands must be washed in a sink that is separate from the sink used for food preparation.
EEC Licensors observed a toddler opening the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The Educator was unaware that the child had access to the hazards under the sink.
The deck had chipping and peeling paint accessible to the children.

The temperature of the refrigerator was over 40 degrees. Discussed the temperature must be between 32 and 40 degrees.
