At the time of the visit, the emergency evacuation observations (Practice fire drills) were not available for review.
1. At the time of the visit, adults' personal belongings (purses) were stored within reach of children. 2. Liquid Wite Out was stored inside an unlocked drawer within the classroom.

The Emergency Evacuation Observations log did not include documentation of a practice fire drill being conducted for the month of December 2019. The educator must hold practice evacuation drills with all groups of children and all educators from each floor level of the approved space at least monthly. Drills must be held during different times of the program day, and must use alternative exits. The educator must document the date, time, exit route used, number of children evacuated and effectiveness of each drill.

At the time of the visit, various food items such as saltine and ritz crackers were not stored in covered containers. The licensee must store all food in clean, covered containers.
At the time of the visit, the program did not have record of a snack menu and had no documentation for previous menus on file. The licensee must prepare and make available to parents on request written menus, including snacks, for each week; the licensee must keep previous menus on file for one year.

When possible, all unused, discontinued or outdated prescription medications shall be returned to the parent and such return shall be documented in the child’s record. When return to the parent is not possible or practical, such prescription medications must be destroyed and the destruction recorded by a manager or supervisor in accordance with policies of the licensee and the Department of Public Health, Drug Control Program.
