During a health and safety inspection, EEC found an infant sleeping in a crib holding a sleep sack under their chest. The educator involved in the Safe Sleep violations must sign the Provider Safe Sleep Pledge and complete the Safe Sleep Compliance Training. The program must notify the parent of the infants involved in the safe sleep violation using EEC's Safe Sleep Parent Letter First Visit of Noncompliance Findings. The program must retain a copy of the letter in the child's record.

1) A staff member reported not knowing if any children in the classroom had allergies or other chronic medical conditions. EEC reviewed the allergy list; one child was listed with a medical condition. Another staff member found the child's medication towards the end of the visit. 2) The allergy list was not current.
