At the time of the visit, a staff member was present at the program with a pending background record check. During a previous visit on 12/8/25, EEC informed the program that this staff member needed to complete the background check before resuming their duties. Additionally, the background record check review reflected a second staff member who has not completed the background record check renewal process.

EEC observed long cable cords that were not properly secured and within reach of children.
During the visit, documentation of staff meetings was unavailable for January, May, June, July, and August 2025. This observation was also noted during the program visit on 2/19/25.
The children's record review reflected a record contained no evidence of current physical.
Two staff records contained no documentation of current pediatric first aid training.
The staff record review reflected the following: 1) A record contained no evidence of staff information form, orientation and no evidence of current physical. 2) A second record contained no evidence of annual evaluation and insufficient evidence of ongoing bi-monthly observations. 3) A third record contained no evidence of current physical and insufficient evidence of ongoing bi-monthly observations.
During the health and safety walkthrough, a staff member was observed serving food with no gloves. Please ensure that food is served in a safe and sanitary manner.
1) A child's individual health care did not include a parent's signature. 2) A second child's individual health care plan expired on 2/5/25.
Several water bottles were not labeled with the children's names.
EEC learned that the program underwent a building inspection on 11/19/25. However, due to ongoing maintenance issues that require resolution, a current building inspection has not been issued.
During the health and safety walkthrough, the EEC Licensor observed a staff member using their cell phone while children were in the classroom. Educators must not engage in other activities or tasks that could unnecessarily divert their attention from supervising the children.

During the health and safety walkthrough, EEC observed peeling paint on several classroom walls that requires repair.
The program installed several portable AC/heater units as alternative heating sources without prior EEC approval. Some units had exposed electrical cords accessible to children. Portable heaters and radiators are not permitted during childcare hours.
During the visit, the staff record checklist was outdated. Several staff members had expired or missing physicals, lacked annual evaluations, and did not have current bi-monthly observations. Please update all records accordingly.
