Staff shall be able to hear all children of pre-kindergarten age and younger at all times, shall be able to see the children with a quick glance, and shall be able to physically respond immediately.
Several children in the preschool classroom have been able to walk into the adjacent infant room classroom and visit with the infant room staff for up to 10 minutes at a time without preschool staff knowledge. When asked where the children were, Staff X looked around, said they didn't know where the children were, shrugged and went back to what they were doing.
