In order to assure that staff and children are familiar with all of the EOP drills, programs shall: (1) Practice evacuation off-site and bomb threats once per year with all child care staff; (2) Practice at least 2 other components of their EOP with all child care staff and children each calendar year; and (3) Review all EOP response actions with all staff at least 4 times each calendar year.

Two licensing coordinators' review of four staff files revealed that the program's EOP was only being reviewed once a year. The center director stated that staff were reviewing the EOP during the quarterly staff meetings, however, there was no documentation of the quarterly review. Corrective action: We will create a dated form that all staff attending our quarterly staff workshop will sign to document our review of the EOP and note it on our meeting agenda.
