The program shall maintain daily child attendance records, in either paper or electronic format, including the child’s full name, date of birth, and their arrival and departure times in the program and each room or group throughout the day, as applicable, recorded in real time by staff or parents.
The licensing coordinator's review of three weeks of staff and child attendance revealed that staff attendance records did not accurately reflect the location of all staff while classrooms were combined. Corrective action: Directors will ensure all staff are signed into classroom upon arrival to meet all ratios. Directors will write on top of the clipboard that classrooms are combined in the morning.
