Toxic Substances
1 Educator did not have evidence of current First Aid training.
2 Educator files were reviewed and the following was noted: 1. Both files were missing evidence of a completed BRC. 1 file was missing evidence of a current physical exam and[REDACTED]
When oberving in the Tiger classroom the following was noted: 1. The Educator did not wash children's hands after diapering. 2. The Educator did not clean the changing table with soap/water prior to disinfecting; she only sprayed it with bleach and wiped it off immediately. It must remain wet according to the manufacturer's directions to disinfect, then air dry.
Staff files were reviewed, and the following was noted: 1. Evidence of a completed background record check was missing from 2 files, (verified on BRC Navigator that all were completed). 2. Evidence of updating int he PQ registry was missing from 1 file. 3. Evidence of a current physical exam was missing from 1 file. 4. Evidence of yearly evaluation's was missing from all files.
Attendance was not accurate; the parent sign in/out sheet stated there were 15 children total in the program and the Licensor counted 16. The classrooms also keep their own attendance sheets, and the Tiger classroom did not have all children listed when the Licensor arrive, the Educator had to fill in children's names prior to handing it over to the Licensor.
