Attendance records
The licensor observed that the 3 high chairs in use were in need of cleaning, there was dried food on all surfaces of the high chairs and the children were placed in them for lunch. The children were observed to be playing with the rain water in the water table outdoors, the water was dirty and the table had dirt and leaves in it. This was discussed on a previous visit with the educator in June 2024.

There were 10 children present on the day of the visit and only 8 children signed in on the attendance for the day
The educator did not disinfect a potty seat after use. She rinsed it in cold water in the bathroom sink while a child was washing her hands.
The licensor observed the following health risks: there were 2 drawers in the ktichen without locks, the licensor observed a prescription bottle with pills inside accessible to the children. There were several other empty prescription bottles and over the counter medications accessible, the educator stated she uses them with the children as maraca's. The licensor observed two different toddler aged children climb into an infant walker. The children were not age appropriate for the equipment.

A review 12 children's records show that: 2 children needs the acknowledgment of parental visit signed, 3 children need an annual update and 1 child needs proof of a lead test.
During the visit the licensor observed the following: the Educator was sitting on the floor of the living room with two (REDACTED) and she said" I need you to calm down, I need some rest". The certified assistant was attempting to get three of the children to stop running around by telling them to "stop" at one point the assistant grabbed one of the children by the back of his shirt in an attempt to get him to stop.
The licensor observed the following indoor hazards: Kitchen: 1 drawer that was not locked and several batteries were accessible Bathroom: sinus rinse was accessible on the sink Playroom/family room: the cord for the mini fridge was accessible, 2 shelves were not secure to the wall and were a tipping hazard, there were diapers in the plastic covering accessible Living room: the cords for the TV and lamp were accessible and the surge protector connected to the TV was accessible. Outdoors: there were several ladders accessible, a cement mixer and pieces of broken glass accessible. The wooden fence is falling over and pieces of it were broken.
The licensor observed the transition from free play to nap time. The children were observed to be climbing on the furniture, and running around the space. The transition time did not have structure to prevent this from happening.
The nap blankets were not stored appropriately: they were all stored in a closet on top of one another. The blankets were not stored individually
This capacity increase visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.

The trash can was not covered today

In the bathroom there was shaving cream, hair spray and saline nose spray accessible on the sink and there was shampoo accessible on the edge of the bathtub

In the backyard the licensor observed several hazards including 3 grills that were not covered. A ladder accessible, a large pile of sticks and wood, broken windows in the garage and an old broken plastic toy
