One of the {REDACTED} classrooms had chipping paint along the wall of the dramatic play area. Additionally, the drawers and cabinets within reach of children, in two classrooms, were unlocked and stored potential hazardous items like thumb tacks and / or scissors. Lastly, the vinyl mat in the {REDACTED} classroom needs to be removed and replaced as material is worn / flaking in several areas.

The surfacing on the {REDACTED} Playground was worn and missing near a fall zone. A cone was placed on the area.

One child's Diazapam, EPI Pen and Inhaler medication expired. The program is working with the child's family to have the medications replaced.

Individual Health Care Plan (IHCP) - R Apr 2025
EEC reviewed several medications at the time of the visit; one child's Tylenol expired in April, one child's Epi Pen medication expired in April, and another child had a current inhaler stored at the program, but also an expired inhaler stored at the program. Please return expired medications to the corresponding child's parents.
The staff member's supervising one of the reviewed classrooms reported that 12 children were in care, however, 14 children were in care at the time of EEC's visit.
The reviewed child records checklist documented expired yearly consents for several children. Additionally, some children did not have documentation of physical and / or lead screening on record.
