The smoke and carbon detectors could not be tested. It was observed detectors were not installed.
It was observed that the pool ladder was accessible in the backyard. Kitchen cabinets had access to cleaning products and plastic bags, in the drawers there was access to plastic wrap and foil wrap with sharp edges.

One of the emergency exits did not have clear access, there was a pack and play and stroller blocking the path.

Children’s records were reviewed. There were two files that did not have parents signature and date for the written acknowledgement of receipt of parent handbook. One file needs an annual update. Three files had a blank general permission; this was reviewed with the educator. One file had an incomplete emergency card and no signature on parental visit. Educator did not have a file for her granddaughter who was present today and counts into her capacity.
Educator only had emergency contact numbers for children, however needs the copies of each child’s emergency card.
It was observed that there were hazards accessible in one of the kitchen drawers. Licensor observed screwdrivers in the drawer.

The following was reviewed with the educator. It was observed that one file had the old transportation page of the enrollment packet And this child also did not have lead screening. A second file had a blank general permission with a parent signature but did not state where child is taken, this file also did not have the acknowledgement of parent handbook signed and dated. A third file did not have an annual update and did not have an updated physical. The educator did not have updated enrollment packets for her [REDACTED].

The educator has not being utilizing a covering that is of adequate size to prevent the child from coming in contact with the changing surface.
There were hazards observed to be accessible to the children under the diapering table, there was an aerosol spray can and plastic bags were also accessible in the bathroom. The playroom was observed to look crowded as there was an abundance of play materials,, which limits the active play space.
