Infection Control/Hand Washing
Children did not wash their hands before eating snacks.
This monitoring visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
During the visit, children were resting, classrooms were very dark, and they did not have adequate lighting for proper supervision.
During the visit, two areas of the ceiling were stained and missing tiles due to a water leak. A bucket with dirty water was on the children's cubbies to catch the leaking water from a pipe.
The school-age children were offered cookies, fruit snacks, pretzels, and crackers for snacks. Snacks must meet USDA guidelines and contain at least two food groups.
