The educators were knowledgeable about IHCP's. However, a review of three plans indicated the following: -One did not have documented what would happen if the medication was not given.

The licensee did not have documentation of bi-monthly observations occurring on the following dates: 9/2019, 11/2019, 12/2019, and 1/2020. The licensee must describe in writing and implement its plan for regular, ongoing supervision of all educators, as appropriate to their positions. Supervision must include, but not be limited to: observation of educators while working with children at least every two months by staff with a lead teacher, site coordinator or higher qualifications; consultation with educators regarding children’s individual needs and communication with families; and documentation of all observations and consultations.
A review of 4 Individual Health Care Plans (IHCP) indicated the following: -One did not have documentation of the symptoms of the illness. -One did not have documentation of who is trained to administer the medication and who trained the educator to administer the medication.
This investigation inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
The evacuation log did not have documentation of which route taken on the dates of 12/31/19 and 1/31/20. The evacuation log did not have documentation of evacuations using the secondary evacuation route. The educator must hold practice evacuation drills with all groups of children and all educators from each floor level of the approved space at least monthly. Drills must be held during different times of the program day, and must use alternative exits. The educator must document the date, time, exit route used, number of children evacuated and effectiveness of each drill.
A review of 8 medications at the program indicated the following: -One did not have documentation of potential consequences of not administering the medication.
