The following was observed: A few chipped floorboards were located near the children's belongings, the science area shelf was unsecured and tippable, and a gray area rug had frayed corners.

During the visit, four staff files were reviewed. One file did not include a Staff Information Form. One file did not include documentation of an interview date. Two files did not include verification of two references. One file did not include a current physical. Two files did not include evidence of immunity to Measles, Mumps and Rubella. Two files did not include documentation of the EEC Essential trainings. One Program Orientation Form was not completed. Staff Observations were not documented every two months in 2021 and 2022 as required.

CPR/First Aid Certification
Educators completed an online-only CPR and First Aid course. Online CPR and First Aid training may be taken as long as the participant is required as part of the online training to demonstrate and successfully complete age-appropriate CPR and First Aid techniques to a certified instructor. EEC will not accept CPR and First Aid certification training that does not include hands-on skill demonstrations.
