The diaper pad was covered with a covering that can not be disinfected after every use. Additionally the diaper pad had small tears and needs to be replaced. The Educator did not disinfect the diaper changing surface after each diaper change. The Educator did not wash her hands or the children’s hands after diapering

The licensor observed the following: living room: diaper table is not secure to the wall. Kitchen: the cabinet under the sink was not locked and there was Cascade and plastic bags accessible. The educator locked the cabinet during the visit. In the bathroom there was lotion, hand sanitizer and make up on the sink counter. In the kitchen there were cords accessible in multiple places.

The Educator has had 1 child enrolled since August. She just began attendance this week and it was not complete. The Educator completed it while the licensor was present
2 of the children in care do not have enrollment packets on file. 2 children need medical documentation
The educator took the online portion of the CPR/First aid in October 2022 but not the in person component. She is scheduled for Saturday
The educator is not conducting monthly fire drills with the children. A practice fire drill was done today and the Educator was able to evacuate all the children
The licensor could only verify 12 hours of training, the EEC essentials.
The educator’s parent handbook did not contain all the required EEC information. The EEC parent handbook will be sent to the educator for review
When the licensor arrived the Educator was outside with 3 children ages (REDACTED). There was a (REDACTED) infant sleeping indoors behind a closed door. The Educator stated she would go back and forth from outside to inside to check on him. This did not allow the educator to know the children’s activities at all times or be able to see/hear all the children in her care. Children were left outdoors without adult supervision and the infant was left indoors without supervision
The licensor observed the educator feed a (REDACTED) a bottle while he was sitting in a seat. At the licensors request she picked him up and held him to finish the bottle
The licensor did not observe this during the hour long visit. Once the children came in from outdoors they were placed in seats in a toddler table, an IPAD was turned on so the children could watch music videos. The toddlers were given coloring materials and play dough to use during this time. The infant was given a teething toy and a cookie during this time. The Educator stated that she gives them free play after lunch
The diapering table has a cover on it preventing it from being disinfected between uses
