Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The only hazard that was observed was in the kitchen. The drawer to the left of the stove has a child safety tab that is not working and there are sharp knives and other sharp utensils inside.

There was a child napping in an unlicensed room.
There was a child napping in unlicensed space during the progress visit.
Educator wants to add the livingroom/diningroom to her licensed space. No hazards were observed in this room. Licensor also inspected all of the licensed space and observed the following hazards: **FAMILY ROOM** - no hazards **KITCHEN** - a sharp cork screw was in the drawer to the right of the sink. **DINING ROOM** - no hazards **BATHROOM** - no hazards **LOWER LEVEL: MUD ROOM** - no hazards **OUTSIDE** - no hazards.

There is 1 child who is prescribed an epipen due to allergies. Educator has the child's IHCP posted inside of a kitchen cabinet, where it was not visible. Discussed that this information needs to be posted somewhere visible in the program and a cover sheet needs to be used to protect the child's confidentiality.

Licensor reviewed the 3 children's records. Of these, 1 was complete and up to date, but the other 2 had no lead testing results.
The First Aid kit has an epipen in it, and it was stored in an area where it is accessible to the children. All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit, except an instant cold pack.
