922 KAR 2:280. Section 3. Implementation and Enforcement.
General: Based on review of documentation, the following was found: 1.) One (1) staff member (re-hire date: 05/28/25) was listed as "separated" on 06/12/24 on the facilities KARES list. The staff member was rehired May of 2025. A status of separated was maintained in the KARES system. The employee had been separated more than 180 days on the KARES system; therefore, a new background check is required. 2.) One (1) staff member (DOH: 05/01/25) did not complete a background check in in the KARES system until 06/04/25.
