Ensure medications are stored with a name on the box and the item in the box. Expired medications need to be returned and replaced. Medications for children no longer in use must be disposed of. Three medications were observed to not have a name on the box or the item. One medication had expired. One medication the child was no longer in care.
The Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint on December 3, 2024, regarding temperatures in the building being too cold. An investigation was conducted on December 4, 2024. This complaint is substantiated because when the complaint was investigated Administrator #1 admitted the heater had been broken but repaired. However, a few of the classroom temperatures were below the required 68 degrees at the time of the visit.

Attendance for children and staff need to refelct who is present in the classroom at all times. Attendance was not being accurately documented before the classroom split. Provide OCCL with one weeks clasroom attendance for the Ducklings classroom.
Ratios must be maintained at all times. One child took one child to the restroom leaving the classroom out of staff to child ratio. This was corrected at the visit after having a conversation with staff.
