Cited finding
During the inspection and as reflected on the current staffing patterns, there are times that only an Aide is with a group of children. There must be a qualified teacher with each group of children. During the inspection, an Aide was with 15 school age children by himself. He is working towards becoming qualified as a teacher, but is not yet qualified. There is also no qualified staff member that he could be substituting for today. The Center wrote a request for a variance for this staff member during the inspection.
