The cubby units, two shelves, wooden kitchen and changing table in the living room were not secured. The tall black lamp in the living room was not secured.
The small island in the kitchen was not secured and there were hazardous items accessible in the drawers. Three drawers in the kitchen had hazardous items accessible, such as sharp tools and plastic bags. The coat rack and wooden shelf were not secured. The cubbies were not secured. The bench to the table, not appropriate for young children, was accessible. Gas stove handles were accessible and not covered. The metal shelf in hall was accessible and not secured. The printer on the grey shelf was not secured. There were toiletries accessible on the bathroom sink and behind the toilet. The white shelf by the sink in bathroom was not secured.

Records were reviewed for the 6 children present on the day of the visit. Two of the children needed Annual Update forms.
The Educator reported she has not yet had the two new tenants complete the background record check process yet.
This investigation inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
Progress Reports
The progress reports were not current for all enrolled children.
The first aid kit was missing the emergency cards for the two newly enrolled children.
First Aid Kit (FCC)
There were 9 children with the Educator and the certified assistant, Olivia Vollans. 7 of the 9 children were under the age of 2 years old. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the only days that this has been an issue.

Records were reviewed for all 11 enrolled children. Five children were missing required medical documentation.
The first aid kit was missing the children’s emergency cards.
This license upgrade visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
The Educator had her own enrollment packets for all of the children, however, the enrollment packets did not have all of the EEC required information. The packets were reviewed for the five enrolled children. Two of the children needed proof of medical documentation.
Children’s Records
There was no fence around the designated outdoor space. There was a drop off by the street and side driveway accessible. There were no closed railings on the deck stairs to the yard, The yard cabinet was not secured. The grass was in need of mowing.
