Licensor walked through licensed space and the following hazards were observed: There was dog food in the kitchen; please ensure dog food is put away during child care to ensure children are not bit or injured. In the outdoor area (fenced in yard), there was an uncovered grill. Please add cover to grill. Confirm once all corrections have been made.

Licensor walked through indoor space and the following hazards were observed: Living Area- No hazards. Kitchen- There was a stapler, scissors, knife block accessible on kitchen counters. Dining area- There were loose wires in a drawer. Bathroom - There were hygiene products accessible. Please remove or make all hazards inaccessible to children. There were no hazards observed in the outdoor play space (fenced in back yard).

Licensor reviewed records and some records were missing transportation permission (enrollment packet), immunizations and up to date lead testing (please note: lead testing needs to be done once between 9 and 15 months of age and once a year at ages 2 and 3 years old). Please update records and confirm once completed. Furthermore, add a plan on how records will remain up to date moving forward.

There was a child playing upstairs without an assistant or Educator present. Educator was using a baby monitor to watch the child. Licensor spoke with Educator about regulation stating that all child care children must remain on the same floor level as staff. Please confirm this will occur moving forward.
One of the enrolled child care children was upstairs playing with Educator's daughter. Educator's understanding was that because it was a family friend's child, she could go upstairs. Licensor spoke with Educator about the need to have child care children only utilize licensed/approved space during child care. Please confirm this will occur moving forward.
This renewal - full review visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
Fire drill was missed in March 2024 and couple of months last year. Please ensure drills are completed monthly and documented; add plan on how that will be done moving forward.
Diapering was completed during this visit, and none of the children's hands were washed. Please ensure all children's hands are washed following diapering/toileting.
