Exit Safety
The second exit from the basement that leads up to the first floor was not safe today. The Educator is having remodeling work done on the first floor(which is used as an emergency exit only). The first floor has been gutted down to the studs and there is not a clear path for the children to the emergency exit. There are power tools accessible, wires, cords and there is not a sufficient railing on the stairs and there is no barrier between the stairs and the first floor.
