It was observed that in the outdoor playground area there was a slide that measures about the 18 inches in height and does not meet the fall zone requirements, there was a small trampoline, which is not approved for use, and the water table had standing water in it. There was access to a snowblower. In the bathroom cabinet there was access to wipes and air fresheners.

At time of visit educator reported that there are times the fireplace is utilized to heat the basement level. Although fireplace was not being utilized during today's visit, the educator did not have a secure child proof barrier in place. This barrier must measure at least 3-feet tall and positioned 3-feet out.
There was a portable fan that was accessible and easily moveable. There are two tall speakers that are easily moveable. There were two smaller tables with small speakers on top, that were easily moveable.

Educator is missing 2 hours of ongoing professional development trainings to complete the required 30 hours. Educator must submit proof of training certificate.

Seven children’s records were reviewed. Two files did not have updated physicals and two files had growth charts as a physical, which does not provide sufficient information regarding the child’s physical. One file did not have proof of (REDACTED), It was observed that all the children’s records had a mix of updated and old enrollment packet pages. Licensor will email the educator the updated enrollment packet forms. The educator takes children off premises, which all parents have given permission by signing the general permission, however some of the general permissions do not have the specific places children are taken when off premises.
All electrical cords must be arranged so they are not a hazard to children, it was observed that there were electrical cords and an electrical strip accessible to children in the basement family room. There were two tall lamps observed in the basement when he were easily tippable creating a safety hazard for the children.
