The toothbrushes were not stored in a sanitary manner. Two were stored in the same cup and they were not labeled with the children's names.

The educator had one exit blocked due to construction on the outdoor space.
Exits Accessible and Safe
Outdoor space: there is an area in the outdoor play space that has holes and construction materials. The area was barricaded by a temporary plastic barrier which is not acceptable. Discussed installing a four-foot garden fence around the area to prevent access from the play space. Also discussed adding an extra gate to provide access to the front yard in case of emergency exits.

The evacuation route on the side door is not clear of obstructions. The door is blocked with wooden boards due to construction on the outdoor space. There were wood boards and cement bags accessible at the front of the house ( entrance and exit). Discussed barricading the materials.
The educator uses a common cloth towel to dry the children’s hands after handwashing. Discussed procedure.
