Educator completed 30 hours of professional development. However, all 30 hours were completed in 2025. Educator did not have any training certificates from 2023 or 2024. Regulations require that a minimum of 10 hours of professional development be completed every year. This has already been addressed with Educator during the last 2 renewals, in 2022 and 2019.

Educator is licensed to care for 8 children. There were 7 children present during the visit, ages 3 years, 3 years, 2 years, 4 years, 2 years, 2 years, 21 months. Due to the fact that none of the 7 children were school age, Educator was over her licensed capacity.

Educator has a changing table, with a changing pad for diapering. There is a cloth covering the changing pad. Discussed that this cannot be used as diapering has to be done on a surface that can be easily disinfected after each use.

Licensor reviewed 4 of the children's records. Of these, 2 were complete and up to date, 1 had out of date signatures, and the other had no evidence of [REDACTED]
Licensor was able to inspect all of the licensed, indoor space during the monitoring visit, as well as the outdoor space. Inside, no hazards were observed in any of the licensed rooms. Outside, there was a small trampoline that the children have access to.

CPR and First Aid Expired on 10/2/21.Licensor informed Educator that she would need to complete a CPR/First Aid course within the next week in order to be in compliance with this requirement.
Educator stated that she completed the progress reports in May and distributed them to the families, but never received them back. No progress reports were observed in the children's records.

Educator completed more than 30 hours of professional development in 2019. However, Educator did not have any training certificates for 2018 and only 2 hours of trainings for 2017. Regulations states that 10 hours of trainings need to be completed every year.
Licensor reviewed 6 of the children's records. Of these, 4 were complete and up to date. The other 2 were children who have allergies and one child has [REDACTED] as well. Neither of these children had an IHCP in their records, and one of these children did not have any physical or immunizations. Please ensure that all of the children's records are complete and up to date.

First Aid Kit (FCC)
No diapering right now, when there were children who needed diapering, Educator would use a blanket and then parchment paper as the disposable layer. Licensor discussed the need to use a surface that can easily be disinfected instead of a blanket.
All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit. However, the Emergency contact forms are out of date. Discussed ensuring that these forms are updated and signed annually.
The water temperature was 140F degrees. The temperature needs to be adjusted. The maximum the temperature can be is 120F degrees.
Licensor walked through all of the licensed space and observed the following hazards: ** Playroom 1 - no hazards ** Playroom 2 - no hazards ** Bathroom - trash does not have a cover
There are multiple children with allergies who are currently enrolled in the program. Educator has posted this information on the bulletin board in playroom 1 and there is a cover sheet. However, one child's information can clearly be scene as it is not covered by the cover sheet. Please ensure that all children's personal information is covered to protect their confidentiality.
