Medication
Children were observed napping with sleeping bags that had long chords causing a strangulation hazard.
An [REDACTED] was observed in the Sunshine classroom without it's prescription label.

One attendance had 7 children signed in while 8 were present.
A student's medication consent was missing the required parent signature.
A review of two staff files and the program's BRC portal in Navigator showed that one staff was working without a BRC and another staff member's was "pending".

Through an interview with the program director and administrative designee, it was learned emergency drills are not occurring on a monthly basis.

A review of three children's files and the children's record checklist showed One student's file was missing developmental history and a signed transportation plan, one student was missing a physical ([REDACTED], one student was missing physical and immunizations, one student was missing immunization record.

A review of two staff files showed one educator was missing evidence of First Aid certification.
A review of two staff files showed two were missing evidence of references, essentials training, and proof of orientation. One staff file was missing first aid certification, proof of BRC. One staff file was missing proof of interview.
The program's preschool enrollment has exceeded its licensed capacity of 20 with 23 preschool-aged children present.
