There were several electrical outlets and a power strip that were not covered. Please ensure all electrical outlets were covered and confirm once completed.
There is one child enrolled who has a medical condition and it was not posted. Please ensure this information is posted in a confidential manner; confirm once completed.
Licensor arrived to the home and Educator was not initially present. She arrived to the home while Licensor stood outside. She reported that her "assistant" was watching the children while the dropped her son off at school. Educator reported that her assistant was not yet completely licensed (currently in BRC process). Licensor discussed this was inappropriate and unsafe, and explained that the only persons on the premises/caregivers must be approved by EEC. The "assistant" was asked to leave.

Licensor reviewed records and there were annual updates, lead testing and transportation signatures missing from several records. Please review all records and ensure they are up to date; confirm once completed.
Water temperature was tested and was 128F degrees. Please adjust water temperature to ensure it does not exceed 120F degrees. Please upload a picture displaying adjusted temperature.
The gate located on the lower level of the home was removed for home renovations. Please add gate and upload a picture once completed.
Licensor walked through the indoor space and the following hazards were accessible: Bathroom- There was a loose plastic bag located in a drawer. Please ensure there are no plastic bags accessible to children. Please confirm once completed. Playroom- There were no hazards observed. Kitchen- Several of the drawer locks were broken or unlocked, several of which contained hazards such a loose wires, plastic bags, cleaning products, and sharp objects. Please ensure safety locks are replaced and locked during child care hours. Please confirm once completed. Living room- Educator was having work done on the home and the area was scattered and unorganized. There were loose wires located under TV console. The TV was also not anchored to the wall. Please resolve all items and upload pictures once completed.
There was a minimal amount of chipping paint on a window located on the front of the home. Please sand down and confirm once completed; upload a picture.
There was a slide and see-saw, both exceeded 18 inches in height and no fall zone. Educator reported that the materials would be removed; please confirm once completed.
First aid kit was missing emergency numbers for children. Please add and confirm once completed.

Licensor walked through indoor space and the following hazards were observed: In the kitchen, there were safety latches undone, allowing access to cleaners and other hazards. Please ensure these latches are always done to avoid children accessing hazards. There were also a pair of scissors on the counter. Please remove all sharp items that may be accessible to children. In the lower level bathroom, there was a roll of trash bags accessible in a drawer. Please remove this to avoid a suffocation hazard. In the living area upstairs (not licensed but accessible), there was an extension cord and outlet exposed. Please make any unlicensed space inaccessible. Lastly, there was no gate installed at the bottom of the stairs. Please add gate at the bottom of stairs to ensure children do not climb. Licensor walked through outdoor play space, which is a fenced in side yard. There was one slide in the area that exceeded 18 inches, and would require a fall zone. Please remove from the play space. Confirm once completed.
Children's napping materials were not stored in a sanitary manner. Please store all children's materials separately to avoid cross contamination. Please add plan on how you will do this moving forward.
