Individual Health Care Plan (IHCP)
All educators were positioned in the cafeteria, and children were not being supervised while using the bathroom during the visit.
The staff schedule was not posted at the program in an area easily visible to educators, parents, and visitors.
Parental consent to administer medication was missing for a child with an asthma inhaler.

The attendance sheet was not accurate and two educators were not aware of the number of children in attendance on the day of the visit.
The program is storing controlled substances (ADHD medication) in an unlocked container. These medications must be stored in a secured and locked place at all times when not being administered by an authorized individual.

It was observed that the method of medication administration for one child is contrary to the medication consent form. Staff reported that parents requested the medication to be administered in this way. All medications must be administered in accordance with the medication consent form.
