Cited finding

During the visit, the Program director was observed sitting on a children's chair in the doorway between Classroom #3 and Classroom #4. The Program Director was supervising children napping in both classrooms while an educator was assisting a child in the bathroom, located outside of the classrooms. The licensee must maintain sufficient numbers of qualified staff to maintain staff to child ratios, promote the health, safety, growth and development of each child. Assignment of staff must take into account the physical environment, requirements of the activities children are engaged in, and the developmental levels and behavioral traits of children in care.
