During the visit, peeling paint was observed on the wood deck and railings of the Toddler House.

The program stores their staff files electronically. During the visit, the licensor was unable to review staff files because the internet service was out. EEC requires that devices used to access records are charged, in working order, and available in the licensed space when children are in care. The program must have a plan for an alternative method to access records during a power outage or if the internet is not working.
The program keeps their children's files stored electronically. During the visit, only one child's file was able to be reviewed. The second file, the director was unable to access. While reviewing the third child's file, the program lost internet service and the licensor was unable to review the complete file. The following hazards were observed outdoors and were accessible to children: unknown vegetation is growing through the chain link fence. There wasn't an adequate depth of impact absorbing material under the fall zones of the rope climber and tube slides.

Toilet brushes were located in the Sandpiper and Piping Plover bathrooms. One electrical outlet did not include a safety cover in the Sandpiper classroom. The electrical wire to the air conditioner must be secured in the Tern classroom. The safety lock on the sink cabinet in the Piping Plover classroom was not in good working order.
