Tables in Rm 4 were not washed and sanitized using the 2-step process prior to the children eating lunch, the Educator only sprayed them once. The highchair and table in the Infant 2 classroom was also not washed and sanitized using the 2-step process, it was only sprayed once after the children had eaten at it.

Infection Control/Hand Washing - R Apr 2025
A child was bleeding from their mouth (due to teething) onto the crib sheet, the Educator immediately took the crib sheet off and disinfected the mattress. The Educator did not wash the mattress first with soap/water or cleaner as required.
At the time of the visit the following was noted: 1. Educators in the Infant 2 and Toddler 8 classroom took both hands off of the child they were diapering on an elevated surface. 2. Children's hands were not being washed with soap and running water after diapering in the Toddler 8 classroom. 3. The Educator did not wash her hands after diapering the child and cleaning the surface prior to putting on new gloves to change the next child. 4. The changing table surface was not washed with soap/water or a cleaner prior to the Educator applying the disinfectant.
