For hand washing, the bathroom had liquid soap but no paper towels. Licensor only observed a common towel, which is not permitted according to regulations. Also, Licensor witnessed Educator washing the children's hands in the kitchen sink, where food is prepared. This also is not allowed, per regulations. Hands cannot be washed in the same sink where food is prepared.
Licensor randomly reviewed 3 of the children's records. Of these, 2 were complete and up to date, but the 3rd had out of date signatures in the enrollment packet. Please review all of the children's records and ensure they are all complete and up to date.

Educator did not have her training certificates available for Licensor to see during the visit. Educator stated she would email them to Licensor. However, Licensor has not received them and therefor has not been able to verify the number of professional development hours that Educator has completed.
Space (indoor / outdoor hazards) - 1
Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The following hazards were observed: **DININGROOM** - no hazards **LIVINGROOM** - tv is a tipping hazard. Right now it is taped to the stand, but that is not secure **KITCHEN** - drawer to the left of the sink had a sharpie marker and small chokable items in it **LOWER LEVEL: NAPROOM** - no hazards **PLAYROOM** - no hazards **BATHROOM** - laundry detergent was accessible to the children **OUTSIDE** - no hazards.

First Aid Kit
Licensor randomly reviewed 3 of the children's records. Of these, 1 had no signature on pg.6 of the enrollment packet for permission to administer basic first aid or transport to emergency medical facility, and also no medical information as the medical page (Pg.8) was not signed by a doctor, the 2nd record had out of date lead testing, and out of date signatures in the enrollment packet, the 3rd record was complete and up to date. Please review all of the children's records and ensure they are all complete and up to date.

The children's blankets are stored together in a closet in the nap room. Discussed that the blankets needs to be stored individually to avoid cross contamination.
There are 2 refrigerators that are used. The fridge in the kitchen was 37F degrees, which is in compliance. However, the fridge in the playroom was 41F degrees, which is too warm.

Licensor reviewed the records of all 4 children. Of these, 2 were complete and up to date, 1 had no physical and an out of date immunization record, and 1 had no medical information.
There were 2 children who were overdue for a progress report.
All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit, except an instant cold pack.
Educator has not completed any professional development since becoming licensed. Discussed that the requirement is to complete 10 hours of trainings every year.
Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the progress visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The only room that had any hazards was the kitchen. There were Clorox wipes and a knife block on the counter. One drawer also had small, chokable items inside.
Diapering is done on a changing pad in the nap room. The pad had a cover on it, which can not be disinfected and therefor cannot be used.
