Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace (fenced in back yard). Only 1 hazard was observed. In the kitchen, the drawer on the far right, near the slider, has sharp knives/utensils inside it. There is a child safety latch installed on the drawer, but it was not working.

Licensor randomly reviewed 3 of the children's records during the monitoring visit. Of these, 2 were complete and up to date, but the third record had an out of date physical and immunization history.
Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The only hazard that was observed was in the kitchen. The drawer on the right by the slider has a child safety tab that is not working and there are sharp utensils inside.

Licensor randomly reviewed 3 of the children’s records. Of these, 2 had complete and up to date progress reports, but the 3rd report was overdue.
The temperature in the refrigerator was 42F degrees. Regulations state that this temperature must be between 32F-40F degrees.

All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit. However, the children’s emergency contact forms were out of date.

Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the monitoring visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The following hazards were observed: ** KITCHEN - drawer near the slider has a child safety lock that is not working and there are knives and other hazards inside, junk drawer in the island has a razor and small, chokable items inside ** 3 BEDROOMS - no hazards ** PLAYROOM - no hazards ** FAMILYROOM - no hazards ** BATHROOM - no hazards ** OUTSIDE - no hazards.
Licensor reviewed all 4 of the children's records. Of these, 2 had complete and up to date progress reports. The other 2 had progress reports that were out of date.
Educator utilizes a changing pad when diapering the children. There is a cloth cover on the pad, which cannot be easily disinfected and therefor should not be used.

Licensor did not observe any immediate health risks during the monitoring visit. Tested the smoke detector in the hall and the carbon monoxide detector in the dining area. Both detectors worked appropriately. All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit. However, there were out of date signatures on 2 of the children’s emergency contact forms.
Attendance Logs
Educator tracks the daily attendance on a Google Doc. Unfortunately, Educator was not able to access this document during the virtual visit. Educator also had technical difficulties accessing the document after the visit and emailing it to licensor. Due to the fact that the attendance could not be made available, this is a non-compliance.
