During a walkthrough of all licensed indoor space the following hazards were found: *Kitchen: Gas stove that has knobs within reach of children. Please child proof stove knobs or find alternate way to keep children from accessing stove.

Fuel burning stove was operating at the time of the visit. The barricade ( gate) was not 3 feet away from the stove all around it.
Diapering & Toileting - R Apr 2025
The educator uses a towel with a disposable paper layer on top as a diapering surface. Regulations require a waterproof surface underneath the paper layer to be disinfected after each change.

The smoke detector was not installed at the bottom of the first floor’s stairs. The pellet stove used for heating was not barricaded according to requirements. The metal gate around it was not installed and not at the correct distance from the stove. Please submit a picture with your response.

Pallet Stove is barricaded using a gate, however the stove is used during child care hours and the barricade is not compliant with regulations. The barricade must be at least three feet in height and installed at least three feet from the stove. If non-combustible and non-heat retaining materials are used, barricades may be placed two feet away from the stove.
Side and front doors. There is clutter and piled boxes in the front door's entrance.
This monitoring visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
