Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace (fenced in back yard). The only hazard was in the bathroom. The door on the left cabinet under the sink has a child safety lock that isn’t working and there are cleaners inside.
Educator has ample napping equipment for the children. However, all of the blankets are stored all together. Discussed that each blanket needs to be stored separately.

For diapering, Educator uses a changing pad on the floor in the office. Educator has not been using a disposable layer. Discussed diapering procedures.

Licensor randomly reviewed 3 of the children's records. Of these, 2 were complete and up to date, but the 3rd had out of date signatures in the enrollment packet.

All of the required items were observed in the 1st aid kit, except for a roll of gauze and the children’s emergency contact information.
Licensor randomly reviewed 4 of the children’s records. Of these 3 had out of date progress reports.
Educator tracks the children’s attendance in a record keeping calendar. The time of arrival and departure for each child daily needs to be added to the attendance.
Educator changes the children’s diapers on a disposable layer on the carpet in the office, which is not a surface that is easily disinfected. Regulations state that diapering must be done on a surface that can be disinfected after each use.

For diapering, Educator stated she uses a blanket on the floor. Licensor discussed with Educator that diapering needs to be done on a surface that can be easily disinfected. Educator also needs to use a disposable layer when diapering.
Licensor reviewed 3 of the children's records. Of these, 2 had no progress reports and the third had an out of date progress report. Please ensure that all progress reports are complete and up to date. Also, please provide a plan as tp how these reports will remain up to date in the future.

The emergency numbers/information are posted in the kitchen. Missing from this list is the emergency back up person and their information.
The first aid kit was missing a gauze roll, tweezers, and an instant cold pack.
Licensor inspected all of the indoor, licensed space during the monitoring visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The only hazard that was observed was an outlet in the office that did not have a cover.
The refrigerator temperature was 28F degrees. Regulations state that the temperature needs to be between 32F-40F degrees.
