For diapering, Educator plans to get a changing pad but doesn’t have one yet. Discussed diapering procedures, including using a disposable layer and disinfecting the pad after each use.
Educator has a variety of toys. Discussed the need to add more books and puzzles.
Educator does not have a thermometer in the fridge. Discussed the requirement for the temperature to be between 32F-40F degrees.
Educator must have an emergency plan describing and detailing procedures for meeting potential emergencies including but not limited to missing children, the evacuation of children from the program in the event of a fire, natural disaster, loss of power, heat or hot water or other emergency situation.
Educator does not have a 1st aid kit yet. Educator must have a First Aid kit that includes the following: *CPR Mouth Guard, * Gauze Pads, * Gauze Rolls, * Tape, * Band-aids, *Disposable Ice pack, *Tweezers, *Scissors, *Thermometer, * Non-Latex Gloves, *Emergency Cards with each child's parental contact information.

Licensor inspected all of the space that Educator intends to license. The following hazards were observed: ** LIVINGROOM **- outlets need to be covered ** KITCHEN **- knife block on counter needs to be made inaccessible, drawer to the right of the stove has sharp items inside ** BEDROOM **- outlets need to be covered ** BATHROOM **- hydrogen peroxide in the cabinet under sink needs to be made inaccessible, trash needs to have a cover.
Electrical outlets in 2 of the rooms were not covered.
Both exits were easily accessible. However, there were no exit signs.
A few hazards were observed in the back yard. There is a large plastic slide which needs to be removed or made inaccessible. The fire pit needs to be covered. The gate to the fence is broken and needs to be fixed.
Educator does not have emergency numbers posted. The information required to be posted includes: * Educators name, address, and phone number * 911 * Police * Fire Department * Poison control number * Nearest health center in case of emergency. * Two emergency contacts
