The witness stated that the child immediately stood up and the staff member grabbed the child a second time and again forced the child down onto the cot. The staff person in charge stated that video footage was reviewed, which confirmed what the witnessed stated. The staff person in charge stated that the child was unharmed and they terminated the staff member;s employment the same day. Per the staff person in charge, it was also noted that on 12/04/19, this same staff member was witnessed by a janitor as being somewhat "gruff" after nap time with one-year-old children in the same classroom. The staff member was seen jerking blankets off the children, quickly picking the children up and taking them straight to changing table without saying a word to the children which seemed to startle the children. Again, the staff person in charge stated that this incident was viewed on the facility camera. The staff person in charge stated that a written warning was given to the staff member and staff started watching this staff member more closely when he was in the building.
