A complaint was received by OCCL on June 9, 2022, regarding lack of supervision. Law enforcement was also investigating this concern. On August 19, 2022, Detective Kerrigan informed OCCL that their case was closed as Unfounded which means there was no sign, indication, or proof that the incident described in the bathroom took place based on the medical exam and information provided by staff and children. Detective Kerrigan stated OCCL could begin its investigation, which began on August 22, 2022. This complaint is substantiated for lack of supervision because there were two incidents when children were not appropriately supervised. An additional concern is staff attendance records do not reflect each classroom or area where staff are working.
