Within six months of the initial date of employment, Staff working with children and the Site Director and/or Program Administrator shall maintain an up-to-date BFIS Quality and Credential Account. Documentation, verification of qualifications and all annual professional development activities as specified in the rules in Section 5 of these regulations shall be submitted to NLCDC to be verified and maintained in BFIS.
A review of staff BFIS accounts and staff file documents reflects that many documents have not been submitted to Northern Lights at CCV to be uploaded staff Credential accounts in a timely manner as required. At least seven staff members who have worked with the program for six months to four years, had documents missing from their credentialing accounts. While the program administrator submitted many documents to Northern Lights at CCV following this visit, as of 06/11/2025, she was not able to provide evidence of previous document submission. .
