On May 22, 2025, the licensing coordinator observed an infant under 12 months of age asleep in a playpen with a stuffed animal in the combined Toddler/Preschool Classroom. Corrective action: I had a discussion with the mother of the child who had a lovely that she could no longer bring the lovey until she was transitioned to the mat at 1 years of age. she did tell me it was made from a breathable fabric but I showed her where in licensing lists about safe sleeping and she understood. That child also turns one next week so we had a meeting about what she will need and can have while on a cot vs sleeping in a crib/pack and play at school!
