The licensing coordinator's observation that there was one expired EpiPen belonging to an enrolled child in the Silver Maples classroom, one expired EpiPen belonging to an enrolled child in the Scarlet Oaks classrooms, and an expired Auvi-Q injector belonging to an enrolled child in Sugar Maples classroom. Corrective action: The expired Epipens have been removed from those classrooms on Feb 12 2025 and a notice has been sent to the parents to replace them with a new one. We have added a column to our health and registration tracking sheet that also tracks the expiration date of child medications. This is checked monthly by the School Director. Email reminders are sent to the families at least one month prior to the medication expiring. 2/11/25 Column was added to the tracking sheet and Epipens were removed.
