The hot water temp exceeded 120 degrees, the reading is 122.4 degrees.
Need to replace the play pen which has holes in the netting. The infant was not present during the visit, safe sleep practices was discussed.
Need to complete the EEC parent handbook and submit a copy for review.

Need some more indoor toys, legos, arts and craft materials and some outdoor materials. Need an appropriate table for the children to sit, eat and do activities.
The refrigerator temperature is 60 degrees, it should read between 32-40 degrees.
There are missing saftey outlet covers in the living and the children's play room.
The cleaning products under the kitchen and bathroom sink need to be inacessible to the children. There are roaches in the kitchen cabinet, need to address problem.
The radiator in the bathroom need to be covered or barricaded. The radiator in the children's playroom need to have the valve covered.
Need covered trash can.
The backyard needs to be cleaned of trash and gates are needed to prevent access to the basement. We discussed using an alternative play space which is Kensington Ave. Elementary School at 31 Kensington Ave. Springfeld, MA
The PQRegistry must be updated and add training hours.

There is no emergency preparedness plan available.
Evacuation drills must be conducted every month and documented. There were only two evacuation drills conducted and documented one for 2019 and one for 2020.
Need scissors, tweezers and adhesive tape for the first aid kit.
You must post the required emergency telephone list in the licensed space.
Check all six enrollment forms for the physical description, date of admission and age at admission. Check all enrollment forms for educator's name listed correctly on the written parental permission forms(emergency treat and taking the children off the premises). There is one child that need immunizations. There is two children that need current medical exams and lead screening test. The enrollment forms must be organized and easily accessible. The enrollment/medical information must be renewed every year.
CPR expired 10/13/2019, it must be renewed every year. Please submit a copy of current CPR. first aid will be expiring on 10/13/2020.
There was not much interaction with the children during the visit.
Need a refrigerator thermometer.
The side door exit was inaccessible with pans and trash blocking the exit on the inside and outside.
Please submit a plan for pest control.
There are no napping materials available for the two children to sleep on. One child feel asleep on the couch with no bedding.
